Tony Perkins: After relentlessly advocating the restoration of "civil," "bipartisan" leadership in Congress, Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi - the self-proclaimed "most powerful woman in America" - rejected her own stated goal after less than three days. Before her official swearing in, she and her liberal congressional allies abandoned House rules and procedures in their pursuit of misguided lobbying reform, increasing the minimum wage, and expanding taxpayer-funded embryonic stem cell research by blocking conservative participation in the debates.
