Georgetown University (GU) has been open to multiple religious viewpoints and proudly proclaims its "religious diversity." But that "diversity" does not include those Protestants or Catholics that hold that the Christian creed as objectively true and the Bible is inerrant. GU in a notice said that after "evaluating many areas of Protestant Ministry?s mission," and GU's "Protestant Ministry has decided to move in another direction." GU said the Affiliated Ministry"s activities would be banned entirely from campus. A lawyer says the reason for dumping the groups has nothing to do with Catholics vs. Protestants or a matter of religious conflict, but of ideological bias. The affected groups include InterVarsity Christian Fellowship (Graduate), Chi Alpha Christian Fellowship, Georgetown Community Church, Crossroad Campus Christian Fellowship and Asian Baptist Student Koinonia.
