Gunner DeLay released Major Proposals Concerning Sexual Predators. DeLay wants Arkansas to have the toughest sexual predator laws in the country. Gunner DeLay said he wants major changes in how our state deals with sexual predatory offenses when he takes office. His plan includes stiffer sentences for sexual predators, letting juries determine risk levels for all sexual offenses, promoting his Safenet program, and passing the first anti-grooming law in the nation. The Safenet program includes educating parents, students, and teachers about the risk of Internet predators. His anti-grooming law would outlaw communication or contact between an adult and child that was designed to condition that child for a sexual encounter. ?Grooming? refers to the process that pedophiles go through to break down the defenses of children before they attempt an act of abuse. Contact Gunner Delay to discuss his plan..
