by Jon Gilmore, RPA: On Saturday, March 17th, Karen Ray was hired as the Executive Director of the Republican Party of Arkansas, starting May 1st. Ray will replace Clint Reed who served for two years and recently accepted a position at the Republican National Committee. Ray currently serves in the Bush Administration as the Confidential Assistant to the Assistant Secretary for Immigration and Customs Enforcement at the Department of Homeland Security. Previously, Ray has served at the Department of Labor and on the 55th Presidential Inaugural Committee. In 2004, Ray served as the Central Arkansas Field Director for the Republican National Committee Coordinated Campaign, Arkansas Leadership Committee.
