Arkansas Senate Bill 959 by Senator Shawn Womack (R-Dist.1) which prevents state foster parenting or adoption by couples who are not married, or who are single with a live-in boyfriend or girlfriend, or singles who are homosexual, passed the Senate today. The bill passed 20-7 (7 not voting and 1 excused) No roll call yet. Bill was forwarded to the House.
