Info Post
The following shows the "Child like Tantrum" of a Democrat who could have had fully funded medical care for children but instead supported an expanded program extended it to adults (Hillary care) and then could not override the President's veto. Background to video: today on the floor of the House of Representatives, during a debate on re-authorization of the State Children’s Health Insurance Program (SCHIP), prominent Rep. Pete Stark (D-CA), chairman of the Ways and Means Health Subcommittee, said: “You don’t have money to fund the war or children. But you’re going to spend it to blow up innocent people if we can get enough kids to grow old enough for you to send to Iraq to get their heads blown off for the President's amusement.”
Rep. Adam Putnam (R-FL), Chairman of the House Republican Conference, issued the following statement: “For Pete Stark to say that the President of the United States takes in vain the sacrifices our bravest have made for our country and its children is an outrage. Congressman Stark’s remarks are an affront to the loved ones of every soldier, sailor, airman, and Marine who has fallen from the line in defense of this great nation. If he is unwilling to retract his statement and issue an apology, then Democrat leaders should call on him to do so at once.”
