The administration is vetting President Barack Obama's list of potential nominees for his appointment to the vacancy on the U.S. Supreme Court. Here is your chance to view information on the top three potential nominees to determine which is the best of the worst. Elena Kagan
As Dean of Harvard University, she supported kicking military recruiters off campus. In a remarkable e-mail that she sent to the entire Harvard law school community, Kagan stated, I abhor the militarys discriminatory recruitment policy, and she condemned it as a profound wrong—a moral injustice of the first order.

Diane Wood
The country may be equally divided on the issue of abortion, but not Wood. She wrote an opinion applying RICO, a statute designed for mob prosecutions, to prevent pro-life activists from engaging in peaceful protests. The Supreme Court reversed her; even Justices Ginsburg and Justice Breyer agreed that Wood was wrong.

Sonia Sotomayor
Her views are decidedly outside the mainstream. Sotomayor recently approved a city's racial quota system and its decision based on their skin color - to deny 18 firefighters earned promotions. Even the liberal Washington Post columnist Richard Cohen and her own colleague, Judge Jose Cabranes, a Clinton appointee, expressed shock and disappointment at Sotomayor's irresponsible attempt to reject the firefighters' important legal claims without even fairly analyzing them in her opinion approving racial discrimination.
