Info Post
Today is the 20th Year for the Life Chain. It is an easy way for each of us to stand for life by joining together in Life Chain activities across the country. Today Sunday, October 7, in hundreds of communities around the United States and even overseas, pro-life citizens will gather along roadsides and form long chains of witness to express their conviction that there are better answers to the challenges we face than to take a human life in the womb or to allow a disabled or elderly person to die. Information about Life Chain - including locations of the scheduled observances -- can be found at the web site www.lifechain.net. Every day is a day to celebrate and respect human life, but this Sunday is also observed as Respect Life Sunday in many churches across the United States. As we call on national leaders to declare and underscore their commitment to the most fundamental of all human rights, we should take every opportunity to renew our own determination to be a public voice for those who have none of their own.
