Gibbs, Conservative Crusader: culture may be regarded as a ramification of the changing political atmosphere, a behavior manipulated by a particular technology applied to a particular set of conditions, or a learned response to a constantly changing society. But sometimes this kind of change may be detrimental to certain facets of a culture. The term "Americanism," as understood by most citizens of the United States of America, refers to the American Culture, which includes a set of values and standards that are uniquely American. The overall culture of the United States is an eclectic blend of Constitutional influences, historical experiences, and a multitude of worldwide cultures.When asked the question, "What is an American?" a minority of individuals may respond that an American is simply an inhabitant of the continents of North or South America.
