"Upon review of the Presidents $3.8 trillion dollar budget submission today, I was disappointed. After listening to the President’s address to Republican’s in Baltimore, I was hopeful his discussion of discretionary spending freezes would take us in a new direction of fiscal responsibility. However, that fiscal promise amounts to a fly in a punch bowl.
“Today’s budget submission does not match his rhetoric about the need for fiscal discipline. This colossal budget spends too much, taxes the American people too much and loads more debt on the backs of our children and grandchildren. This level of spending is unsustainable and will derail the prospects of a sustained economic recovery."
