We Can Survive An Inept Presidency But Not Inept Voters

Letter to the Editor - by BJ Brown: I am 79 years old, served 22 years in the United States Air Force and lived under 13 presidents. I cannot remember a time in my life when I was so pessimist about the leadership in our country and about our future as a Republic.
  Our president and vice-president were elected and they both appear to be in way over their heads. They are performing like someone who is deficient in judgment, sense, or understanding. It's my feeling they were elected by voters who had been tricked or duped.
  The appointed leadership in the House is a woman from California who acts unwisely on many, many occasions. She was elected by incompetent voters! Our present appointed Senate leader behaves comically, sometimes like a clown.
  Censuring these unfit leaders is merely a symptom of what's wrong in America. We should be aware of the vast number of incompetent voters who made the president and vice-president their anticipated savior.
  We can survive an inept presidency but we are less likely to survive inept voters.
