The man known for pioneering the political use of direct mail told activists attending the Conservative Political Action Conference (CPAC) in Washington, DC, Thursday, that they should not vote for top-tier Republican presidential candidates Rudy Giuliani, John McCain or Mitt Romney. Richard Viguerie, chairman of ConservativeHQ.com, says conservatives will not get to the "political promised land" until they get new leaders. Viguerie says conservatives should feel "angry and betrayed" by the "corrupt and immoral" Republican leaders they have had in Washington. When Republicans claimed the White House and both houses of Congress in January of 2001, he contends, it was almost as if they decided on a one-word strategy for governing -- bribery . . .
