Bill Smith, ARRA Editor: FairTax.org has launched an new calculator which allows users to determine their tax savings under the FairTax system. It was noted in testing the calculator that it may take more than the purported 5 minutes for those who wish to gather past tax info. But having your last years return present will speed the process. However, for a majority it will probably take less than the advertised time.Public interest in the FairTax movement has grown because of grassroots supporters who are tired of the invasive nature of the IRS and of their labors being taxes for increasing social and entitlement programs for others while the rest of society does not bear their fair share.
