Everything is on the line in this critical election year! Both in Arkansas and in the US Congress! Just ask Charles Rangel, the man who would write tax law as House Ways & Means Committee chairman under a Democrat majority. When it comes to raising your taxes in 2007, Rangel just this week said "Everything has to be on the table." Here's how the National Journal reported it: "Asked whether tax increases across the spectrum would be considered, [Rangel] replied, 'No question about it.'"Just when you thought across-the-board tax increases were a thing of the past - a relic of the Clinton era - one of the most powerful Democrats lays it all out for us: if Democrats are allowed to take control, they will raise your taxes - and everyone else's. This is the choice we face. Either we fight them this year, or we fight them next year, when the threats of tax increases from Speaker Pelosi and Chairman Rangel will no longer just be threats.
