Info Post
H/T Bill Dupray, DC Republican Examiner: Everybody on the left will tell you it is still high at 58%. Yep, 58 and falling.
The real trouble for Obama is that he is losing the independents. Big time. From Gallup:
Obama's approval rating was 60% from June 13-15, at which time 88% of Democrats, 60% of independents, and 25% of Republicans approved of the job he was doing. In the June 16-18 polling, Democrats' approval of him stands at 92% -- up slightly -- whereas approval is down among both independents (by seven points) and Republicans (by four points).

That's a 7 point decline in one week among independents and 4 among Republicans. I was reluctant to post this piece because I was afraid the Democrats might see the bloodletting and start governing with some sanity and maybe hold on to Congress next year. Then I figured, nah, no chance of that.
