Republican Party of Arkansas Chairman Doyle Webb responds to union, health, and pharmaceutical industry-funded health care ads that have hit Arkansas airwaves:
“I find it interesting that while Sen. [Blanche] Lincoln is avoiding open health care discussions with Arkansans, many of her big money supporters in the pharmaceutical and health care industry and the unions have funded a $12 million television ad campaign in support of the White House plan which she supports. Americans for Stable Quality Care launched the ad campaign in key states, including Arkansas, to put a spin on Obamacare and offset frustration being felt by Arkansans. Don’t let the ads of Obama-Lincoln big money donors fool you; Sen. Lincoln’s desire for Washington-run health care will take away your choices, increase costs, and reduce the quality of health care.”
