Info Post
(Little Rock) - Democrat presidential candidate John Edwards embarked on a poverty tour this week, which will stop in eastern Arkansas this evening. Edwards is planning stops in eight states in his “Road to One America” tour. But there is just one problem with Edwards' rhetoric on poverty...his record.
“Anyone who votes to raise taxes for working families in Arkansas, charges college students $55,000 to hear a speech on poverty, and earns $500,000 at a part-time hedge fund job is clearly not in touch with those who need help most in Arkansas,” said Karen Ray, Executive Director of the Republican Party of Arkansas.

“In 2008, voters are going to elect a Republican President who will lower taxes and help create jobs in Arkansas – not a hypocrite who charges that there are ‘two Americas’ and then gets a $1,200 haircut and goes home to his $4.2 million, 29,000-square-foot mansion. Voters are not going to fall for this,” Ray continued. For more info on the "real" John Edwards, please
