Update 7/18: The Senate Judiciary Committee did examine this border guards' case. Even Dianne Feinstein (D-CA) appeared on Lou Dobbs show after the hearing and said that their sentence should be commuted and that the case had been a prosecution overreach. This matter will be heard by the House in the near future. Many legislators are asking for a pardon rather than just commuting the sentence, and Eagle Forum believes a pardon is in order.

Eagle Forum: On Tuesday, July 17th, at 10am in Room 226 of the Dirksen Senate Office Building, the Senate Committee on the Judiciary will hold a hearing to "Examine the Prosecution of Ignacio Ramos and Jose Compean."
