The Rasmussen Reports daily Presidential Tracking Poll (7/23/07): Former TN Sen. Fred Thompson leads race for the Republican Presidential nomination with 26% of Likely Republican Primary Voters. Former NY City Mayor Rudy Giuliani, in second place: 22%. Former MA Gov. Mitt Romney: 12% and AZ Sen. John McCain: 10%. Mike Huckabee:3%, Sam Brownback: 2% and Ron Paul, Tom Tancredo, Duncan Hunter, Tommy Thompson, and Sam Brownback split 4% of the vote. 19% are undecided. Thompson does better among men while Giuliani does better among women. The most likely voters lean more in Thompson’s direction . . .
