Elizabeth Aymond, AFYR Communications: Annual Arkansas Federation of Young Republicans State Convention, Grassroots Training Seminar, and the first ever Rock-N-Roast featuring State Senator Gilbert Baker Time is running out to register for the annual AFYR Grassroots Training Seminar, State Convention, and Rock-N-Roast to be held this Saturday (August 25). See below for details!
Grassroots Training Seminar 10-2 Open to everyone. Join the effervescent Josh Cooper in the UALR Law School while he trains us in everything from door to door campaigning to campaigning at your county fair. Lunch will be provided by Larry's pizza. $25
AFYR State Convention 2:30-3:30 YR members and anyone interested may stay and observe in the gallery. We will be electing officers and chartering new chapters!
Legislative Rock-N-Roast 7:00-? Everyone and anyone is welcome! Come enjoy great BBQ and live music at Whole Hog Cafe in Little Rock as we roast Senator Gilbert Baker. $25, or both the seminar and Rock-N-Roast tickets for $40. NOTE: If you decide to pay for these events on August 25 the price will be $35 per event.
