Info Post
The Arkansas Dept of Finance & Administration said net available revenues for March totaled 318 (M) million dollars. The figure is three percent above last year. Net revenues were two-point-six percent above the forecast. The state's projected surplus of 919 (M) million dollars did not change with the latest revenue figures. The Legislature passed measures that set aside 456 (M) million dollars of the surplus to repair dilapidated school buildings and much of the rest of the surplus for various projects. And they couldn't afford to eliminate the remaining 3% in the State Grocery tax!
