Today we honor Presidents Day. Follows is an informative piece by David Mark: In "honor" of Presidents Day, actors portraying Abe Lincoln and George Washington will no doubt provide faux endorsements for autos, mattresses and assorted other products. Presidents Day, though, honors all 43 chief executives -- the great, good, average, weak and downright abysmal. After all, even our most obscure presidents, those who are not featured in movies and who rarely come up in the classroom, can claim accomplishments in office (and plenty of dubious deeds as well).
