Update: Brownback did formally announce his withdrawal as a GOP candidate for President. Several news networks reported that he intends to run for Governor of Kansas in 2010. Of special interest was the report by CNSNews that Brownback when asked if he would support a pro-choice candidate such as Rudy Giuliani, he answered, "Yes he would." But he then insisted that "Giuliani will not be the Republican presidential nominee."
