Rasmussen Reports: This week was the fourth straight week that Thompson has led Giuliani in the national poll for the Republican nomination. Fred Thompson 25%; Rudy Giuliani 23%; Mitt Romney 13% and John McCain 10%. Still leading the lower tier is Mike Huckabee with 6%. Four other candidates split 4% of the vote while 19% are undecided (weekly results). Even though Thompson leads by 2%, Giuliani is within the poll’s margin of error, meaning that the race is even.
