Paul encouraged Believers at Colosse to "continue earnestly in prayer, being vigilant in it with thanksgiving." (Col 4:2) With the Apostle word in mind I would like to encourage you to spend a few moments in prayer with your family and friends as you gather for Thanksgiving dinner. Pray for our men and women serving in our nation's military. Pray for our leaders that they would make wise decisions that would honor the sacrifices made throughout the history of our nation. Pray for the pastors and priests of this nation that they would be as bold and courageous to defend truth here at home. Finally, pray that as Christians here in America, we will seek God and do our part to make this country a nation deserving of His divine protection. May God bless each of you. May you be surrounded by your loved ones. And may He bless all our valiant soldiers until that Day of Thanksgiving in which the whole world will share. [Tony Perkins, FRC]
