Though Dr. James Dobson of Focus on the Family has been lukewarm at best in his support of Republican presidential candidate John McCain, Friday's announcement that Alaska Governor Sarah Palin is joining McCain on the ticket seems to have finally broken the ice for Dobson . . . Dobson recounted the feeling he had when Ronald Reagan was inaugurated, and said, "I feel very much that way today . . . this is a very exciting and encouraging day for conservatives and pro-family activists. (Dobson says he plans to vote for McCain-Palin)
