| It is time hear again the wise words of a woman who has represented women throughout her entire life. Phyllis Schlafly testified against the Equal Rights Amendment previously in Arkansas and detailed why the ERA Amendment is NOT good for women and is an effort that will damage the position of women in society. Unfortunately, a majority of Arkansas State democrat representatives did not heed the warnings set forth by Schlafly. At the moment women are free to fully participate in all avenues of American society. The US Constitution is written sex neutral. But, with the ERA, women would find loose the protected position in varied situations in American society. |
