ARRA Editor: Even though the friends and members of ARRA find ourselves on the opposing side of the liberal views often espoused by Arkansas News Bureau Columnist John Brummett, today we are recommending that you read his article: The chicken waste state.While some know us as the Razorback state, others like some Oklahomans call us the "chicken '&^%$" state." Perhaps Brummett article will help us understand. Just skip the name dropping like his mention of Oakland's Mayor Moonbeam and stick with the political aspects of chicken droppings. Brummett provides interesting insights into the influence that the poultry industry, including "chicken-manure," has on Arkansas politics or at least Arkansas politicians.
