WSAZ News: . . .Tom Tancredo says the congressman will not take part in West Virginia's nominating convention this February . . . West Virginia will hold the convention on February 5th as part of Super-Duper Tuesday, a day in which 20 states will hold primaries or caucuses to pick candidates for president. "It wasn't a mistake. It was a planned action," Tancredo spokesperson Alan Moore told the Rocky Mountain News. Instead Tancredo will focus on Iowa, New Hampshire and South Carolina, states that hold votes in January. Ten candidates paid the $5000 filing fee to join the convention in West Virginia. Fred Thompson, John McCain, Rudy Giuliani and Mitt Romney are among those who will participate. [Read More]
